Training Opportunities

Are you looking to develop as a leader?

In order to infuse dynamic, biblical leadership into dying and struggling churches to forward a movement of revitalization and replanting, we have developed a few pathways and partnerships to equip current and future pastors for this ministry.

Revitalize and Replant Internship

Interns will spend 10 weeks connecting with a mentor and churches, gaining experience in ministry, and developing a clear vision of God’s heart and plan for revitalization and replanting. Whether you are a traditional college/seminary student or simply seeking to grow as a church revitalizer in the midst of ministry, our summer program can be shaped to fit your current situation/context.

Through the MBC’s Summer Missions Program, college and seminary students can also receive a stipend provided by the MBC and have an opportunity to earn six hours of bachelors or masters level credit at MBTS or MBU.

Applications are due March 5.

Revitalize and Replant Cohort

The Resound Cohort provides the opportunity for equipping and coaching from revitalization practitioners as well as theological development, assessments, and practical revitalization projects. This track is designed for leaders in any season of life or ministry and also provides the opportunity to earn bachelors or masters credit or a certificate of revitalization and replanting.

Coaching and Assessments

This ongoing, intentional relationship helps a pastor discover his best next steps to lead himself and his church toward renewal.

PRA - Pastoral Readiness Assessment

Based on the three biblical roles of pastors (elder, overseer, and shepherd), the PRA assesses a pastor’s competencies and challenges.

VRA - Vision Receptivity Assessment

A church assesses the cultural challenges hindering renewed health and effectiveness.
